Dear fly.io and community,
i am new to fly but really stoked at how nice it seems. Unfortunately i fear that i just threw 36$ into the bin. Here is why: In the Docs/Pricing i read that buying reservation blocks for a year comes with a discount. As i was happy with that commitment i bought a reservation block for the Frankfurt (fra) region.
Now i installed the flyctl and followed a guide i found to deploy an app i want. But was then confused that I could not deploy the needed postgres in the first step. There i then saw it says some regions are limited somehow. Only then by searching for that i found out, that the fra region is limited to the Launch Plan and up to use as i understand. This was absolutely not clear when buying the reservation, also there was no hint that this restriction might apply with this region.
This makes me rather unfortunate.
Is there any way i can change the reservation block to another region (Paris - cdg)? Or cancel the reservation and buy another reservation? I havent used any of the credits yet. Or do I just misunderstand something here?
