Fly.io trying to charge my card even before deployment on login

Logged in to Fly.io

Tried to launch an example website

Entered my credit card

Fly.io tried to charge 6.66 $ on it immediately, thankfully blocked

What is happening ? I was trying the free tier

Hi,

Ah, that sounds like their test charge to make sure your card is valid. It should be reversed.

It being blocked could be an issue … as Fly might then suspect it’s not valid :thinking:
