Did Fly Remove The Ability To Set A and AAAA records for custom certificates?

In my dashboard I used to be asked to have clients add A and AAAA records. Now the only option is CNAME.

  1. Was this option removed?
  2. Is it still possible to set records pointing to the A and AAAA record of the app?
  3. I have other clients who have set their records pointing to A and AAAA records, will their certificates renew automatically?

hey Austin,

we just updated the UI to match what flyctl displays. That option still works, we’ll be re-adding it to the UI soon (displaying both options). So:

  1. no
  2. yes
  3. yes
