Suggestion on Shared vs Dedicated CPU

Hi,
We have been using dedicated 1x CPU, however, I have seen over last month, our usage is very less and CPU barely crosses 4-5% usage and same for RAM which usually is around 100-200mb. Hence I have been thinking of spinning up multiple shared-1x instances (4-8 instances-vs 2 in dedicated).

What do you think about it?

This seems reasonable. You can also raise the memory allocation on shared CPU VMs fly scale memory.

For very intermittent or low scale apps it’s possible to do to the lowest tier of CPU and still provision and pay for just the extra RAM you need, if the base 128MB is not enough.

The autoscaling options: Scaling and Autoscaling can also help add more instances automatically if necessary.
