I’ve set up Gitlab CI/CD as per this article.
The only difference is I’ve set up the image
as node:latest
as I’m deploying a Node app.
It appears to work fine, right up until the ==> Creating release
line after which it outputs Error You ran into an error connecting to the Fly API. If the error persists, keep this request ID to help Fly Support track it down: *request ID*
.
I ran into the same issue when deploying from my local machine the first time around, and then I ran flyctl launch
and it worked fine when deploying afterwards. I did push the fly.toml
file to the repository, so presumably i shouldn’t need to run flyctl launch
there as well (and they don’t do it in the article, either).
I’m asking here since I’m assuming this is likely a newbie question so it might be more fitting here than in a support ticket. Thanks in advance!
Facing the same issue, cannot deploy anymore. There’s some outage or something going on.
Deploying also is not working via the flyctl for me. Not sure if this is related.
Getting the same error on my app today.
Error You ran into an error connecting to the Fly API. If the error persists, keep this request ID to help Fly Support track it down: 01G4TN95R7M2MK941QVMS5DBDA-chi
Yup. This seems to be happening intermittently.
It just started working for me. So I think it was just a temporary thing.
Sorry for the trouble. This looks to be an issue connecting to Docker Hub from our API. We’ll open an incident and update there.
Update: Fly.io Status - Intermittment deployment failures
Update 2: We think we fixed this. Please report here if you continue to see problems.
still getting this error:
