Hi, could you help me understand pricing.
On the machines pricing page the listed price for shared-cpu-1x@1024MB is $0.00000292 per second
But from the invoice breakdown it is $0.000003337115 if combine 2 line items in yellow. And I can’t find separate line items as well in the pricing page:
Hi… Last I heard, the “additional RAM” charge is per gigabyte, whereas your shared-cpu-1x@1024MB has only 0.75GB additional.
Thus, you shouldn’t just be adding those two lines together.
Moreover, it looks like these both include the October phase-in of 75%. (The 2.92e-6 that you quoted is the November price, for Warsaw.)
In general, the community forum usually only gets you guesses like this from fellow users such as myself. If you think you may have been misbilled, a much better avenue is…

Thank you for your detailed reply and help with the calculations. The numbers make much more sense now that you’ve shared these details and examples. I don’t believe I was misbilled - I just wasn’t clear on how the numbers were derived, as the pricing structure seemed different from what appeared on my bill. Your explanation has cleared this up.
