I sleep more soundly knowing my postgres didn’t enter read-only mode because it lacks storage.
We just shipped a simple email alert to notify you when your database is close to total capacity. The current threshold to alert is <= to 10% free space and you will only get mailed once per day. You can always opt out so don’t worry about spam.
But it’s worth mentioning, for now, the scope of this alert only works with Postgres Flex databases.
