I the last two days there was an issue in the AMS region. Since then my services hosted in this region are not starting and they log ‘insufficient memory available to fulfill request’. I use shared 250mb machine as it is the testing environment. One service is running but the latency is 10x after the incident.
Look at your memory usage of your app, if it’s 190MB+, you’ll have high latency due to low memory.
That’s the thing. My apps has top 50mb in used memory.
It looks like the capacity incident in ams
and arn
from yesterday that you alluded to may still be cropping up sporadically.
Another user was reporting continued problems in arn
today.
Can you clone machines into cdg
or lhr
?
Questions / Help, instead of App not working, which has less good visibility.
There’s something fishy going on in sea
too. Here’s my test app:
Base memory consumption is higher than usual starting on 10/08
Hi @anumuna,
Indeed @mayailurus is spot on, the “insufficient memory available to fulfill request” error refers to memory capacity in the region, not your running machine’s memory. If you get this error, you can wait until more capacity is available or (if you need to scale up more urgently) clone machines to a nearby region.
Okay, I understand. Thanks guys, for the explanation.
I’ve been experiencing a similar issue all weekend in the ARN region. No resources to start a machine, pre-existing or completely new. I’ve been running a 4 CPU 4608 GB machine but all my operations are on hold because of the resourcing issue. Any actual solutions to this on the Fly side would be greatly appreciated.
