Infra Log Summary: August 3rd-9th

We want it to be easy to figure out what’s happening with infrastructure and operations! So, you can read about our progress last week over on the infra-log

Here’s a summary:

  1. We had 3 incidents that impacted specific regions and hosts
  2. We started looking at how we can better leverage our edge infrastructure.
  3. We started looking at some of our host inventory to see if we can bring them back into the fleet
  4. We are putting more time and thought into our Anycast network - extending backup routing to support raw TCP connections
  5. We’re working with our hardware providers to react to capacity demands faster!
  6. We’re starting to investigate “infinite capacity” (if that sounded provocative, go read the infra log to see what John has been up to :smirk:)
