How additional resources are charged for Hobby plan?

Hello everyone,

I’ve checked the fly.io plans and pricing page and still have some doubts about charging.
I’m not setting a minimum number of machines. If may app is idle, all machines are destroyed. When a new request to my app is received, fly.io starts up a new machine. This way, most of the time I don’t have any machines running.

I’ve just scaled my single machine to shared-cpu-2x:4096MB and I expect to pay $21.40/mo. But if my machine is not running 24/7, will I be charged hourly?
