Get notifications when app crashed with out of memory?

Is there any way to get email notifications when app crashed with out of memory error?

Currently I don’t get any email notifications in this case. Currently the only way for me to know about out of memory crash is to see logs, but it is certainly not a reliable option.

I’ve gotten OOM emails before. Did you check your spam box?

I had only one OOM email before, in 2023 (though for different fly.io app, but on the same account). I just triggered OOM in my app, and haven’t receive any emails, including spam folder. Only “Out of memory: Killed process” records in logs. Maybe I accidentally unsubscribed from oom email notifications before? Is there any way to resubscribe?

Go into your fly dashboard Settings. Did you have the email alert checked?

Could you please show how it should like? I can’t find toggle related to crash notifications. There is only toggle about failed release notifications (enabled).

You probably have to reach out to support to resubscribe to those alerts if you’ve unsubscribe. I don’t see any options on the settings.

hmm, I did try taking a look, but I see neither you having unsubscribed from OOM emails, nor us having attempted and failed to send one to you. (I do see the OOM log for your app, though.)

not sure what went wrong here  try sending us a mail at billing@fly.io, I suppose this counts under account issues that don’t need a paid support plan to ask about.
