I destroyed my pg app but I’m not sure how to check or remove the pg_data volume that was created on multiple regions

It does, your volumes are “soft-deleted” until we need to reclaim the space for new volumes. Therefore it’s possible to bring them back from the dead in case of a mistake.
Effectively, your volumes are destroyed too.
At least that’s the current behavior. It might change in time.
