Hello,
Previously, I deployed 2 instances of share-cpu-1x with 256MB, along with a database instance of share-cpu-1x with 256MB, totaling 3 instances. I was able to deploy successfully (fly deploy) without any issues.
Free allowances
Resources included for free on all plans:
- Up to 3 shared-cpu-1x 256mb VMs
I haven’t changed any machine configurations since then.
However, when I attempted to deploy again recently, I encountered the following error:
“Error: failed to update VM e… : You have reached the maximum number of machines for this app.”
Upon checking the dashboard under Machines, I noticed that the built-in shared-cpu-4x@4096MB (50G) for each account no longer shows the “free builder” indication.
Does this mean that the built-in machine consumes the free quota?
I also read in another post that this might be due to the account being flagged by the fraud protection system.
I have reached out to billing@fly.io, but I have not received any response from the official team.
Could anyone advise on how to resolve this issue? Thank you.
