Blog css dark mode fix

This is a “bug report” of sorts about the The Phoenix Files · Phoenix Files blog. I didn’t know where else to post it.

As someone else mentioned here previously, there is an issue with how the blog renders <code> tags when viewing with Dark Reader browser extension.

See here how the code tags look like redacted black rectangles:

The source of this is mix-blend-mode: multiply; applied to the code tags in app.css

With that single line removed, the problem is solved:

I very briefly looked at how that changes the page in light mode, and I can’t really see any difference at all.

This seems like it could be a worthy change, a lot of people use Dark Reader to access a dark mode without site developers having to create one. And the blog is great and very helpful as extra documentation for Phoenix, but sort of unreadable at night without this fix, so would be cool to have…anyways, thanks for your time, have a great day.
