I have a writing app that is deployed in two regions: Amsterdam and Miami.
When I open the Grafana metrics in the Fly dashboard, I see those “edges” appearing all over the map:
What does this mean? Is the application automatically duplicated into some places close to the user?

It’s where the traffic for your app enters our network.
User’s traffic is routed to the closed edge first, and the edge server routes it to the closest healthy instance of your app.
Alright, that makes sense!
That’s a good indicator to see from where the traffic is coming. Maybe north-west America needs an app closer to them
