Supabase on Fly.io roadmap or status?

It’s been a few months (January) since the Fly / Supabase announcement and I was wondering if there was a roadmap or any progress moving it from an alpha?

I find the database story of fly to be the missing piece for me yet. I’m used to working with RDS (or even managed aws lightsail db), but would prefer to stay within the fly network for latency reasons.

Any updates or progress to being production ready?

Thanks!

Thanks for bringing this up - an update is long overdue. We know that managed DBs are the elephant in the room.

The truth is that we’ve been heads down work on our own managed MySQL and Postgres managed database services  More to come on this topic.

We still want to offer Supabase. We’re waiting for them to support highly-available (HA) database. On AWS, where Supabase’s original product deploys, this isn’t as much of a problem. On Fly, HA (2+ nodes) is essential for a production-grade database.

Thanks for the reply and details on future plans.

Fly Managed mysql and postgres sound even better than a 3rd party managing the dbs. Looking forward to signing up once it’s released.
