(RESOLVED) No outbound IPv6 connectivity in LAX

Not sure if related to the recent downtime or not, but simple http requests out of an LAX v1 app to domains that resolve to AAAA records seem to fail. It seems like outbound IPv6 connectivity is borked in this region right now. Moving to SEA and everything works fine.

Environment I tested with: node-19 in alpine making undici requests to YouTube.com. This fails in LAX but works in SEA.

Thanks for letting us know. The issue is now fixed on the affected host.

Edit: we are adding an extra check (we’ve had it for a week, but we hadn’t deployed it yet) to make sure we get alerted faster when this happened.
