Managed Postgres (MPG) is our fully managed database service.
You been able to create backups (both scheduled and manually) and restore clusters from these backups.
But one feature that has been conspicuously absent is the ability to interact with backups after a cluster has been deleted. You were limited to managing backups for “active” clusters.
You now have (read-only) access to deleted clusters via the dashboard -
For a deleted cluster we show some limited “overview” information -
And some summary information for backups that exist for this cluster (created prior to the cluster being deleted) -
Note: This is currently limited to read-only. You cannot (yet) restore one of the (deleted cluster) backups via the dashboard. Watch this space though - this functionality should be coming soon.
