I have some services deployed on fly.io which auto downscale to 0 if there are no requests coming in. Before migrating them to fly.io I was using a prometheus blackbox exporter to monitor their health continously. As this would keep them running, I need another solution.
Does anyone have experience doing this on fly.io with the available (fly-proxy?) Prometheus metrics?
Unfortunately it doesn’t look like there are metrics for successful / failed app health checks after deploy, so I guess it will be quite hard to build useful alert rules with the existing metrics.
