I’m encountering an issue while following the Fly.io guide on scaling LLMs with Ollama (Scaling LLMs with Ollama). I’m trying to provision seed volumes but receive an error related to GPU access.

Issue Description:

Problem: While following the article to scale LLMs, I receive the error: “failed to provision seed volumes: failed to create volume: Your organization does not have enough trust to access GPU machines. Please contact billing@fly.io to remove the restriction.”

  • Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Follow the instructions from the article.
    2. Encounter the error message.
  • Expected Behavior: Provisioning should be successfully as outlined in the guide.
  • Actual Behavior: Provisioning fails with the GPU access restriction error.

Thanks for your help with the GPU access issue. I appreciate the quick response!

However, I’ve encountered a new problem. I accidentally upgraded to the “Launch” plan and then immediately downgrading to the “Pay As You Go” plan, I received an invoice, even though I didn’t use any resources under the “Launch” plan. Now, I’m getting the following message when trying to deploy:

“Your account has overdue invoices. Please update your payment information: https://fly.io/dashboard/kamel-197/billing.

I didn’t expect to be charged since I downgraded right away, and this is currently preventing me from deploying anything.

Could you assist with this issue or point me in the right direction to get it resolved?
