Database cluster completely down

Hey there - our database cluster is completely inaccessibly and we’ve tried restarting it and it is just hanging at Setting up volume 'pg_data'. IAD and ORD regions. I know there is a partial outage but for us this is a complete outage.

Yep, this has fully taken down our production app too. Irony is that it was an auto scale, which scaled to 0 instances.

Our scheduler went down which created a huge backlog of VM operations we need to process to get back to normal. I can restart your PG apps directly though. Can you post the names here or send an email to

We seem to be in some sort of recurring cycle of VM operations - could this be adding exponentially to the schedulers queue?
