I’m in New Zealand and if I cause a new builder to be created that’s in the closest region to me - SYD. When this happens I sometimes can’t then deploy to our servers, all in SJC. One/some of the docker image layers keeps timing out when pushing to the registry. This is with the --remote-only flag.
It’s really frustrating when this happens. I fix this by deleting the builder and getting someone at work in CA to kick off a deploy which creates a builder in SJC, I from NZ can then deploy normally with this new builder. Deploy performance in this configuration is perfectly fine.
It would be great if I could control / move the region a builder is in.
