60s timeout on Server Sent Events?

Hi,
I just deployed the open source supabase edge function server, and I’ve done so because i need to stream Server Sent Events from the edge functions back to my client, and these take more than 60 seconds (open ai chat completion).

However, despite a constant stream of data sent from the server to the client, the request timeouts after 60 seconds. I found a few community support posts about timeouts, but it says that if data is sent during these 60 seconds it should not timeout.

Am I missing something?
