I seem to have a zombie app or machine running. Only noticed it as something is handling an Oban job I have before the application does (theres some logging thats running on the new version and its not showing in the logs, just going straight to completed)
Checking the hostname thats showing in the db it doesnt match what mine should be.
I’ve deleted the app from fly and redeployed (but using same name) and its still happening.
There’s no other machines for the app showing in the web portal or the cli.
Hm… It would help if we forum readers could know this hostname. That plus anything about the client IP address that you can dig up from the database’s admin side would be the best clues to finding out where the mystery node really is…
(Also, it would generally be good to post a lot more about the database itself: what it is, where it’s running, what other developers, CI jobs, etc., might have access to it, that kind of thing.)
Well whatever left over machine was attached and trying to process those queues went away overnight. At no time were any other users or dev machines turned on or attached to the db.
