Hm… Given that Fly.io has an explicitly stated policy of not using LLMs for Support, I think the default assumption is that this is just someone genuinely trying to be helpful when they had a small interval of time free.
Also, in general, questions are answered here in the community forum on a standby basis, when there is a moment. It would be disappointing to see them revert to the older policy of “we answer questions sometimes, but that’s rare”, etc.
(Another recent thread has someone’s agent almost literally saying “in lieu of a support plan” at the end of its long, convoluted question post, so they’re getting hit from both sides now.)
The black-box aspect of Sprites kind of is frustrating sometimes, though… If you happen to have a public HTTP service, then you may still be able to use the flyio-debug header:

The fields are cryptic and are not documented, but they’ll tell you which data center the worker node is in (which is also where the Sprite is, last I heard) as well as which edge node you traversed, and so on.
