Urgent: accidentally deleted app and volume today, please help restore

Hello,

On November 2, 2026, I deleted my app assistant-champy by mistake. I meant to delete an app on a different account.

The deleted volume is:

  • ID: vol_4qlkx6le15778edr
  • Name: donnees_champy
  • Region: cdg

It held a SQLite database with customer requests that I have no other copy of. Scheduled snapshots were enabled, with the default retention.

I saw in other threads that Fly staff could sometimes restore a volume after deletion. Could someone check whether this volume or one of its snapshots still exists, and restore it?

To keep the service online, I recreated an app with the same name on a new volume (vol_vjy26dm19pe3z3pv). Please do not overwrite it: restoring the old volume alongside it, or a snapshot I can fork, would be perfect.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello! Since you have an app named assistant-champy already, I’ve restored the deleted app as assistant-champy-restored. Your original volume and its snapshots should be accessible now.

We support cross-app volume restores from snapshots, so you can create a new volume in assistant-champy using a volume snapshot ID from the restored app.

List snapshots from the original, restored volume:

fly volumes snapshots list vol_4qlkx6le15778edr --app assistant-champy-restored

Create a volume in your new app using a snapshot:

fly volumes create donnees_champy --size 1 --snapshot-id <snapshot-id> --app assistant-champy

Thank you
