Stopped machine in postgres cluster keeps restarting

Hi,

A while ago I had some problems with one of my DB replicas. I cloned a healthy machine and stopped the unhealthy one.

Now the unhealthy machine keeps trying to restart, fails to rejoin the cluster, stops again, restarts etc, in loop.

Is it safe to simply remove the stopped machine from the app? Are there any other extra postgres steps I need to do first with repmgr and whatnot?

I removed the machine and everything was fine.
