SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to dev.azezment.com:443

I have a wildcard certificate working fine for main site: https://azezment.com . I’m trying to setup a separate dev application under https://dev.azezment.com . I got DNS setup to point to public IP of new host (dev), but I know I’m missing something. Here’s my error troubleshoot so far. Any help, highly appreciated.

 ~ 11:51 % curl -v --resolve "dev.azezment.com:443:66.241.124.46" https://dev.azezment.com
* Added dev.azezment.com:443:66.241.124.46 to DNS cache
* Hostname dev.azezment.com was found in DNS cache
*   Trying 66.241.124.46:443...
* Connected to dev.azezment.com (66.241.124.46) port 443
* ALPN: curl offers h2,http/1.1
* (304) (OUT), TLS handshake, Client hello (1):
*  CAfile: /etc/ssl/cert.pem
*  CApath: none
* LibreSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to dev.azezment.com:443
* Closing connection
curl: (35) LibreSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to dev.azezment.com:443

Hi azezeasy,

Certificates work on a per-app basis. If you have a wildcard certificate for *.azezment.com on one app, but are running dev.azezment.com on another app, you’ll need a separate certificate for that.

You should be able to run fly certs add dev.azezment.com in your dev app to get a certificate added for that app.

You may also use fly-replay to redirect requests from another app holding the wildcard cert, if you prefer keeping the wildcard cert on one “router” app.

Thank you !

That worked like a charm !!
