I wanted to add the sprites mcp to chatgpt so I could have it do work outside of the restrictive chatgpt sandbox, but the authentication step failed.
I gave the URL to chatgpt and this is what it said:
sprites.dev/mcp rejects ChatGPT CIMD clients with invalid_auth_method. ChatGPT’s metadata prefers private_key_jwt, advertises none as fallback, and publishes a JWKS URI. Please support private_key_jwt, negotiate none, or expose working DCR.
