Second-level wildcard sub-domains

Hi,
First up, I love the product.

I’ve managed to get a wildcard domain added for *.custom.tld and that’s all working correctly (e.g. for bar.custom.tld). What I’m after is for second-level sub-domains to also be routed to my app, so names like foo.bar.custom.tld also work.

It’s mentioned in Limitations with respect to wildcard certs or domains per app? from 2021 that this isn’t supported.

I was wondering if supporting this use case is on the cards / possible? If it helps I don’t need certificates managed for these second-level subdomains.

For anyone else looking, I have just tried using a dedicated IP address instead of a shared one and it all works now. Excellent.
