Could you guys please restore the app quiet-glade-112 I just deleted? I didn’t realise/wasn’t sure if volumes linked to an app would be deleted along with the app itself when running fly destroy (and curiosity got the better of me )
As I understand, deleted fly apps can be restored for 7 days after deletion – I’d be really grateful if someone on the fly.io team could help me out.
We can’t actually restore volumes from deleted apps, we purge them pretty quickly when an app is deleted.
Volume snapshots are kept for 7 days unless a volume is deleted. I thought they were accessible then discovered this wasn’t the case when we tried to help someone else out.
Not that it helps you now, but we’re going to ship some improvements to volume snapshots that help with this stuff.
