Hello Fly Team,

Please help restore volume vol_4m3jx1y95do07qzv (app bot-tribo-redm, region cdg, 1GB, Snapshot retention 5) destroyed on 2026-09-03 23:35 UTC.
We need the latest snapshot before destroy (2026-09-03 02:00 UTC) to recover SQLite DB at /app/data/bot.db.

App: bot-tribo-redm (now deleted)
Region: cdg

Can you restore the snapshot to a new volume or provide a download? It’s a production Discord bot with important event data.

Hi there!

I restored the bot-tribo-redm application. However, I don’t think you’ll be able to recover the data unfortunately.

  1. As you observed, the app was deleted on 2026-09-03 23:36:56+0000.
  2. The volume itself remains in pending_destroy for up to 24 hours, it’s unrecoverable after 24 hours have passed.
  3. Snapshots are only maintained for up to 5 days (daily snapshot, we keep the latest 5 and rotate the oldest one out). So the last snapshot rotated out on 2026-09-09 at the latest.

Sorry we couldn’t help further - if this ever happens again please do report it as soon as possible, the sooner you do, the better chances of recovery are. Also - for critical data please do maintain an off-site backup.

I appreciate this advice comes too late, but you can increase the daily snapshot count using the console command. If you do set up a new volume, this would at least give you more breathing space between failure and recovery.
