One very valuable metric we like to keep an eye on is db connections. Would you guys be willing to add this to the standard set of grafana graphs you already have available at fly-metrics.net?
sum(pg_stat_database_numbackends{app="DB_APP_NAME"}) by (datname)
As we migrate towards Supabase Postgres, we’ll look at getting more comprehensive database dashboards in place.
Meanwhile, while you can’t edit the prefab dashboards, you can create your own dashboards in Grafana for tracking DB connections. Does that help?
