Reduce Machine Spawn Time

Can anyone please share some resources or posts on how to reduce machine spawn time for large docker images(around 3GB)

Hi… Here’s one that comes to mind:

zstd-compressed files are usually smaller than the equivalent gzip-compressed files, and they can be decompressed faster. We now support running zstd-compressed images, so if you’d like to try this out to be able to create machines faster, follow the instructions below.

Also, it’s generally best to create Machines ahead of time, and then leave them stopped until you really need them. That way, you avoid having all of the preparing image delay in the main client-request path…
