Question about using the Fly.io logo

Hello Fly.io team,

I have a question regarding the use of the Fly.io logo.

I’m building the website for an open-source project that is hosted on Fly.io. I’d like to include Fly.io in a #Partners & Ecosystem# section to acknowledge the platform I use and recommend it to my visitors based on my positive experience.

The logo would simply link to https://fly.io.

Before doing so, I’d like to ask for your permission.

Could you please let me know:

  1. Whether I may display the Fly.io logo on my website.
  2. Whether using the caption “Technology Partner” would be acceptable, or whether you would prefer wording such as “Hosted on Fly.io” or something else.
  3. Whether you have any brand or logo usage guidelines that I should follow.

My intention is not to imply any official endorsement, sponsorship, or commercial relationship unless explicitly authorized by Fly.io. If a different caption is preferred, I’d be happy to use it.

If this request would be better handled by email or another channel, I’d appreciate it if you could point me to the appropriate contact.

I’ll refer you to our documentation on branding, there’s a section at the bottom on acceptable usage:

tl;dr is “Hosted on Fly.io” would be acceptable, but not “Technology Partner”.

That makes perfect sense. I’ll use “Hosted on Fly.io” and make sure everything follows your branding guidelines.
