postgres db in development mode question

Hi, first time fly.io user. I created a postgres db in development mode and selected the “scale single node to 0” option. I’m guesing scale down to zero means shut down the machine. In that case, is the db also lost? Or can the machine be started up again with the db intact?

Nope… The data lives on a volume and hence will survive reboots.

You can start and stop the machine as many times as you want.

(Things stored in the rest of its filesystem do disappear, though.)
