We’re in the early stages of setting up integration with Vanta for reporting the configuration of your Fly.io orgs to the Vanta console. We don’t have an ETA for completion and this is still very much a work in progress (hence: Not-yet-ripe Produce) but we’ve been working with folks from Vanta to get an initial integration set up and trialled. In the initial stage of the trial only your Fly.io org users will be synced to Vanta. Once that’s stable, we’ll work with the Vanta folks to expand what’s covered.
We know that compliance is a huge challenge for a bunch of of our customers and we’re hoping to make your lives easier at least a little bit with this. We’ll keep you updated as things progress but, in the meanwhile, let us know in this thread if this will be useful for you and/or there is specific functionality you’d like to see so that we can look into getting it on the roadmap. And if there are any ongoing compliance challenges or questions you’re facing, contact us: we’re here to help!
While you’re at it, could you also integrate with TrustCloud.ai too? They provide a free tier to help startups with SOC2 and it’s a pretty great platform.
Well, a little more than a year later and I was able to get something rolled out. Better late than never, I guess. Thanks for your patience!
There will be a real-real FP announcement when it’s been tested a bit more (including details on why it took so long) but I thought I’d sneak in here first to gather a few brave souls to help me beta test more widely. Right now, the functionality only syncs user access + role / SSO / MFA but that seems the norm for others in this space. I’m making Vanta integration a Compliance plan feature so if you already have an org with the Compliance plan on it, we can get things set up. You can post here or DM me with the org name and I’ll config the org so that it can access the Vanta flow.
