New Fly MCP

Earlier this year, with the launch of Sprites, we released the Sprites MCP. That has been very useful for people using agents to work with Fly. But, it was always missing the rest of Fly.

Now, we have a single MCP server with access to all of your Fly resources: https://mcp.fly.io/

Visit that URL in your browser and you’ll get all the details about how to hook up the MCP server to your agent. Or, just point your agent at it and let it rip.

You can manage machines, volumes, apps, and sprites. MPG is coming soon!

This is currently in beta (mostly because it doesn’t have every single possible tool yet) so please share your feedback with us. The existing Sprites MCP is unchanged and we have no immediate plans to deprecate it.

Heyo. Very exciting, looking forward to trying it out!

I just tried connecting, but the Authorize button during the consent flow is greyed out. Quick peek at the JS shows there is a data-server-disabled flag being set – perhaps it still needs a button click on your end to release it to the world?

Edit: FYI, this only seems to be a client-side check? Manually remove that attr from the page allowed me to continue authorizing and connecting just fine.

Thanks for taking a look. I’ve double-checked and I reconfigured it in several of my harnesses.

What client/harness are you trying to add it to? I’m looking into it more.

Edit: Actually, this is a bug for folks with a specific combination of organizations and apps. I’m fixing it now. Thanks for reporting this!

This should be working appropriately now. Thanks again for the report @TimoVink

Thanks for the super quick turnaround. I just tried disconnecting and reconnecting and can confirm I had no issues this time around!
