Machine 48e7979a390178 in app vertex-proxy-go is stuck in migrating state with host_status: unreachable. Cannot be destroyed via CLI or Machines API (returns 404). Please remove this orphaned machine record from the control plane.
Experiencing the same issue.
We have a ghost machine that’s stuck in a migrating state and is blocking all deployments for our app.
Every deploy attempt fails with not_found: machine not found when trying to destroy this machine. We also cannot destroy it manually via the CLI.
FYI, we’ve been working around this by adding --exclude-machines <machine_id> to our deploy command.

We also did the same, although the ghost machines are still there. Unable to remove them
