I have an app setup to autosuspend to zero machines. However, in the last few days my machine keeps getting stuck in the suspending state. If I force destroy the machine and start a new one, as soon as it does not get traffic, it tries to susepend again and get stuck. I have not made any changes to this app in a year. How can I debug or fix this? I can’t get any logs from this machine as it is suspending.
Could you share one of the machine IDs that got stuck?
Hey, I’ve got the same issue. Started 2 weeks ago approx., redeploy via flyctl deploy didn’t help.
Machine ID 7816d1db205ed8
Last failed request ID (stop machine) 1K8AQKS406TJBZZKT1N2Z3Z95-fra
EDIT: after redeploy the machine is working (like started state), while suspending status still exposed. So probably just some issue with status evaluation/reporting.
@ViktorDS That machine should be good now, though you may need to do a hard stop / start or redeploy to get the status showing properly. It looks like there was an issue with the snapshot management on that host that was causing it to hang in that state. Sorry for the confusion!
