I ran fly certs add ssauction.online
10 days ago and since then fly certs show ssauction.online
continues to say it has not been issued yet. I added an A record and an AAAA record on Hover as suggested.
From my experience, it was pretty quick - under 5 minutes. Does Hover have the notion of Proxy vs DNS Only like Cloudflare? If it does, you have to use DNS Only until the certs are assigned.
There was another person who’s app got stuck w/ certification generation, if that’s the case w/ your app, reach out to support.
I can’t find anything about Proxy vs. DNS Only in Hover’s documentation.
I can’t reach out to support since I’m not paying for a support package.
I believe you can just shoot them an email.
Not anymore apparently. I sent an email to support@fly.io and got this response:
This is an unmonitored support mailbox. We offer two kinds of technical support :
- Free and Hobby tier customers should use our community support forum: https://community.fly.io/
- Email support is available with our Launch, Scale, and Enterprise plans: Pricing · Fly
If you have a plan with paid email support, please send an email to your personalized support email address. You can find this on your organization’s billing page.
try fly certs check
fly certs check ssauction.online
outputs the same thing as fly certs show ssauction.online
:
The certificate for ssauction.online has not been issued yet.

but they need to be set on the apex domain.
I didn’t notice that. Now it works! Thank you!
