Hope for Better Labeling of SSL Certificate Costs

I created an SSL certificate according to the documentation. ( Custom domains · Fly Docs )

Since it was mentioned as a Let’s Encrypt certificate, I expected it to be free. The documentation didn’t mention that creating certificates incurs charges, nor did the console indicate this.

After creating a wildcard certificate, I discovered a $1 charge on my bill. While the price itself isn’t an issue, it should be clearly indicated that this is a billable action, especially given that Let’s Encrypt is known to be free.

If I had known beforehand that wildcard certificates cost ten times more than regular certificates, I wouldn’t have chosen to create a wildcard certificate.

After creation, I cannot see either in the CLI or the web console exactly when the fee for the next month will be charged.
