Seems to be something up with the network connectivity between the DB and app servers today again, similar to last week, although this time it seems to be something other than IPv6 as changing the DB connection string to IPv4 did not seem to improve the situation.
Is this being looked at? It’s not mentioned on the status page.

Hi @jphenow I may have been a little hasty, it appears that just adding more application servers in a different region has improved the situation a little.
We’re running a Rails app, started getting a lot of ActiveRecord::ConnectionFailed errors in the last 2 hours, our DB is in the SJC region, along with our application servers, adding some more application servers in the LAX region appears to have reduced the spikes in request times we were seeing.
