Fly.io trying to charge my card even before deployment on login

Hi,

Ah, that sounds like their test charge to make sure your card is valid. It should be reversed.

It being blocked could be an issue … as Fly might then suspect it’s not valid

Hi @pdmurty, that looks like a preauthorization (Wikipedia link), which we use to verify that your credit card will work if and when you use paid resources on Fly.io. You should see that reversed within a few days. If you don’t, please get in touch with us at billing@fly.io. More on this:
