Experiencing massive slow responses on both Fly.io and app hosted on it

Hi everyone,

Am I the only one experiencing massive slow response today? On both the Fly website (landing, docs, and dashboard, only exception is the forums) and my app hosted by Fly.io?

I don’t see anything on status, and I can go through the forums, but it’s almost impossible to load a dashboard page. I have tried on wi-fi and 5G, mobile & desktop & laptop.

That’s odd. We’re not aware of anything that could cause this right now.

It might be localized. From which country / province / city are you accessing our site? Can you provide a traceroute?

So you’re saying this was fast before and now it’s slow?

I’m from Toulouse, Occitanie, France.

Everything seems to be back to normal, but the slowdowns lasted at least an hour, and concerned both the site Fly.io (except for the forum and the “status” site). and the sites hosted on it.

Here the traceroute :

And it was definitely not my internet connection because everything was working fine, I was even able to upload the video above on Youtube, and the same slowdowns were on wifi and 5G.

What regions do you see listed on debug.fly.dev? Transit over cogent is not great, it may just be that you hit some internet congestion or a bad route.

Here debug.fly.dev, looks like “cdg” :

Is it still slow? That looks like it’s routing right.

If it’s still bad, can you provide a mtr fly.io (with a sampling of at least 5 minutes)? There could be packet loss along the route.
