Does fly.io allow outgoing emails from its servers?

What it says in the title. I’m working on a new project, and currently hosted on a server elsewhere that does allow outgoing emails, but looking to move to fly.io and need to know if I need to setup an external SMTP service, or if I can just send directly from fly servers using something like GitHub - LukeSmithxyz/emailwiz: Script that installs/configures a Dovecot, Postfix, Spam Assassin, OpenDKIM Debian web server

Bit of a noob here, so if this question doesn’t make sense, apologies in advance.

We recommend you use an external email service for outgoing email. Our outbound IP’s are often subject to being blocked or other restrictions with other SMTP servers as we don’t have things like rDNS configured.
