Depot is failing for "fly deploy" (bom)

I’m stuck here when running fly deploy

==> Verifying app config
Validating fly.production.toml
✓ Configuration is valid
--> Verified app config
==> Building image
Waiting for depot builder...
 🌍

even tried depot=false but got this error

WARN Failed to start remote builder heartbeat: failed to create volume: no capacity available in bom

Error: failed to fetch an image or build from source: failed to create volume: no capacity available in bom

tried different regions and tried --remote-only but still not working.

My region is ‘ord’ so why is it showing ‘bom’? tried changing the region but keep getting the same issue.

How exactly were you changing the region? primary_region in fly.toml doesn’t influence this, for example…

I have a depot builder that’s not been responding since the last few hours. I do a remote build. Eventually what got it to work was

FLY_REMOTE_BUILDER_REGION=fra fly deploy --depot=false ...

You can choose a different region ofcourse. Hope this helps.
