Decoupling Bucket Names and Domain Names

One of the coolest things you can do with object storage is expose a public bucket with a domain name, eg: files.example.com. The only problem is that in order to do that, you need to name your bucket files.example.com. This has been a constant thorn in everyone’s sides as moving data between buckets is annoying and risky.

Tigris has removed this limitation. If you own the domain example.com and the bucket files-prod, you can point files-prod directly to files.example.com like you would normally.
