CPU and RAM metrics missing from new machines

Just deployed a new version of my Fly app and I’m not seeing CPU or RAM metrics reported for the new machines:

The machines are definitely running and handling a bunch of concurrent connections:

Edit: Not seeing custom metrics either. Related?

I noticed the status of this incident has changed to “Monitoring” so I redeployed my app to get a fresh set of machines and see if the metrics were fixed, but it seems like they are still not.

Since all issues on the status page are now resolved I deployed again and the CPU/RAM metrics are still broken. Very frustrating to be flying blind here.

Seeing this as well. A few data points:

  • Started 3 days ago, is still happening this morning.
  • Is only affecting a single app for us.
  • For that app we get all metrics for machines in iad but only some for machines in sjc - CPU and RAM metrics are missing like OP called out.

Sorry about this! We have a few newly provisioned servers that hadn’t picked up some config. We’ve fixed this now and will be adding monitoring around this specific error.
