ARN maintenance notice on dashboard but not on status.flyio.net

ARN has some emergency maintenance going on and we can see on dashboard that. But, is there some reason that it is not visible on https://status.flyio.net/?

Hi… That other status channel only covers events with the widest scope, basically:

This page is for updates about global incidents. It does not include updates about routine hardware failures or isolated infrastructure events that have limited impact. For a personalized view of all events that might affect your apps, please check the personalized status page in your Fly Organization’s dashboard.

This is phrased more directly elsewhere:

We don’t post individual host issues to our main status page because a host issue usually affects a small number of users in a single region.

Given that a “host” in this context is an individual physical server machine, and that Fly.io has thousands of those, last I heard, a fault in one is classified as routine. (Routine from their perspective, anyway.) Incidents that appear only on your own dashboard typically just refer to one of those that they’re repairing right now (and that you happen to have a VM on).

If you post the verbatim message that you’re seeing, people here in the community forum might be able to help interpret in more detail…
